Vijayawada: Minister Ambati Rambabu has alleged that Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu has never believed in democracy in his entire political life. “He has faith only in cash and conspiracies. He came to power through conspiracy and backstabbing NTR,” he underlined.
The minister pointed out that Chandrababu had also been caught in Telangana in the Vote for Cash case.
He spoke in the context of TDP chief complaining to ECI, along with Vundavalli Sridevi, who has defected from YSR Congress, about bogus votes. He maintained that every time, Naidu has won with bogus votes.
“But today, the process of removing such bogus votes is going on. Chandrababu Naidu's defeat is guaranteed if bogus votes are removed completely in the 2024 elections,” Rambabu remarked.
He said Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan have met the CEC only to mislead the masses about their bogus votes and sidetrack the real issues.
The minister said seat-sharing process within TD and JS has not yet started, whereas YSRC is ready with candidates of 175 assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats for the 2024 elections.
