Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa and his son B.Y. Vijayendra are in the list of members of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Election Campaign Committee headed by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai for the ensuing Assembly polls.
The list was announced by national general secretary of BJP Arun Singh on Friday on the orders of BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda.
Among the list of 25 members in the Election Campaign Committee prominent leaders include former Chief Ministers- Jagadeesh Shettar and D.V. Sadananda Gowda, former minister and Chamarajnagar Lok Sabha member V. Srinivas Prasad.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje will head BJP’s Election Management Committee having 13-members. The Management Committee has Tejaswini Ananthkumar as one of the members.
State president of BJP (SC Morcha) Chalavadi Narayanaswamy is in both Election Campaign and Management Committees.
