Talasani slams Revanth, Priyanka, BJP leaders
HYDERABAD: Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav bitterly criticised TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy and BJP leaders for resorting to their personal attacks on Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and state ministers.
Yadav said Revanth Reddy had “no respect for the CM or ministers or elected representatives. He abuses them in public. He is short and has a thin physique who could be throttled to death easily."
Referring to the TPCC chief's criticism against CM at party leader Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra's public meeting at Saroornagar on Monday, Yadav said, "Revanth addresses CM and ministers in the singular, as vaadu, veedu. He has no manners and no culture."
The comments made in the presence of IT minister K.T. Rama Rao at an event at Begumpet created a furore in view of the abusive language and personal attack.
He addressed Revanth and BJP leaders as "naa kodukullara' and even said "BJP kodukulu".
Yadav said, "These days the PM and BJP leaders are talking about Jai Bajarang Bali. I apply tilak on my forehead since childhood. BJP leaders are trying to teach me how to apply the tilak."
Yadav also lashed out at the Congress and BJP leaders over their criticism of the new Secretariat. "When we decided to construct the Secretariat, they approached courts against it. Now the same leaders say they have to enter the Secretariat. The New Secretariat resembles US President's White House"
He took a dig at Priyanka Gandhi for releasing the youth declaration, saying, "The Congress ruled the country for several decades. Priyanka should answer why Congress failed to create jobs."
