Anam accuses YSRC MLA of possessing illegal assets
TIRUPATI: Telugu Desam state spokesperson Anam Venkataramana Reddy has accused YSRC Nellore city MLA Anil Kumar Yadav of possessing illegal assets worth thousands of crore of rupees. He presented various documents related to
land, layouts, and properties as evidence supporting his allegations during
a press conference held at the party office in Nellore on Sunday.
The registration documents showcased B. Chiranjeevi and P. Nagaraj, close
associates of Anil Kumar, and Venkataramana Reddy claimed them as witnesses.
Apart from this, he also released various other documents to support his
claims. He questioned why Anil Kumar failed to disclose the name of his
uncle deputy mayor Roop Kumar Yadav during interrogation in August 2017
regarding IPL betting.
Venkataramana Reddy alleged that Anil Kumar and Roop Kumar were involved in gold mining activities in Peru along with Y.S. Anil Reddy. He raised
suspicions about whether these activities led to international notices being
issued to Roop Kumar Yadav. He challenged Anil Kumar to make these notices
public, urging transparency regarding their family’s involvement in these
questionable activities. He also accused both Anil and Roop Kumar Yadav of
benefiting from these activities.
Regarding the recently inaugurated flyover in Harinathpuram, Venkataramana
Reddy clarified that the YSRC government had no involvement. The project was
financed and executed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
Reddy criticised Prasanna Kumar Reddy for his abusive and foul language.
Addressing the challenges presented by Anil Kumar Yadav and Prasanna Kumar
Reddy, Venkataramana Reddy expressed his concern about the growing trend of
using temples and oaths for political posturing, urging politicians to
refrain from settling scores in places of worship.
