KTR calls upon BRS party cadre to observe National Integration Day on Sep 17

Hyderabad: The BRS party working president K T Rama Rao on Sunday called upon the cadre and leaders to observe the National Integration Day on September 17 in the state.

The Hyderabad state merged into the Indian Union in 1948. In recalling the occasion, K T Rama Rao said that the Chief Minister himself would participate in celebrations to be held in Hyderabad and all Ministers would attend programmes held at all district headquarters on September 17.

"The Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao himself will participate in this ceremony in Hyderabad city and besides this, the ministers will participate in the celebrations organised by the government in every district center on a large scale and hoist the national flag", K T Rama Ram said. Apart from this, the BRS party working president asked the cadre, leaders to participate in the National Integration Day across the state.

K T Rama Rao said that in the last ten years after the formation of Telangana state, the ruling BRS party has taken up development activities with innovative programmes to set an example for the country by carrying out development and welfare programs.

"The political parties who are impatient for the development of Telangana are acting with the delusion of politicising every issue. Some parties are conspiring to do politics even on National Integration Day, which is celebrated by the people of Telangana. People shall watch out and be careful of the conspiracies of destructive forces that add religion to every aspect and spread in the society," K T Rama Rao said.

On September 17 1948, Telangana became an integral part of India. He said that everyone remembers the occasion when the entire Telangana community worked brilliantly to transform from the monarchy system to democratic freedom. He said that destructive forces are making moves to fulfil their narrow selfish political interests by distorting the occasion of September 17, which is a symbol of national Integration.

The BRS party working president said that the political leaders have nothing to do with the history and developments of that time and are trying to distort and pollute the bright history of Telangana with petty politics.
