Farmers suffering under BRS rule, says Etala

Adilabad: BJP election management committee chairman Etala Rajendar said farmers in Telangana were suffering a lot under the BRS rule and that he was getting calls from farmers of Khammam saying they were getting erratic power supply and their transformers were getting burnt.

“The BRS government has failed to supply 24-hour power supply to farms and, on the other hand, it sent mirchi farmers to jail in Khammam.”

Addressing the gathering at ‘Jana Garjana Sabha’ in Adilabad, Rajendar said the dreams of 30 lakh unemployed youths were shattered as the PSC question papers leaked. The state government failed to recruit youths for government jobs in the last nine years, he said.

“In the last four years, women SHG have not got bank loans as the BRS government is not releasing money to the bankers,” he said.

Rajendar said there was no proper political representation to the SCs, STs and BCs in the KCR cabinet.

Union minister and party state president G. Kishan Reddy said it was the BJP under the leadership of Amit Shah that officially celebrated the Hyderabad Liberation Day on Sept 17. He called upon the people to defeat the BRS and MIM which joined hands in the state.

He abruptly ended his speech due to a sore throat.

Adilabad MP Soyam Bapu Rao reeled out the list of development works taken up in the last five years in the Adilabad parliament constituency with help from the BJP government at the Centre. He expressed confidence that the party candidate will win all the seven MLA seats in his parliament constituency.
