AP needs Jagan for welfare and development, says Malladi Vishnu

Vijayawada: State Planning Board vice chairman and central MLA Malladi Vishnu has said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has fulfilled 99.5 per cent of his poll promises and undertook both welfare and development programmes all through his term.

“Hence,AP needs Jagan as CM again,” the MLA said while participating in the
'Why AP Needs Jagan' programme in the constituency.

Deputy mayor Sreesailaja Reddy, YSRC corporators and leaders from the 26th
division Maruthi Nagar attended the event. They took out a rally, garlanded
the statue of deceased chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, and unfurled the
party flag.

Vishnu unveiled the "Welfare Schemes Board" under the 29th Secretariat,
highlighting the number of beneficiaries of welfare schemes there and the
amounts disbursed under each scheme.

He said the progress achieved by the Jagananna government in every field was
being explained from house to house. As many as 1,729 people have benefited
from these with a disbursement of '5,07,58,476 through DBT under the 29th
ward secretariat, he said.

Some 719 people have benefited from a disbursement of '1,00,91,928 through
non-DBT. A total of 2,448 people were benefited by a payment of '6.70 crore,
he claimed.

A few beneficiaries explained the benefits they were getting from the state
government.
