TD, JS will be routed in AP polls: YSR Congress medical wing
Vijayawada: The YSR Congress' medical wing has claimed that the recent Assembly election results in Telangana where the Jana Sena (JS) and Telugu Desam (TD) failed to win a single seat will be replicated in Andhra Pradesh in 2024.
While TD had not contested the Telangana polls, JS had contested in an alliance with the BJP in eight constituencies.
President of YSR Congress, NTR district medical wing, Dr. Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav said the Jana Sena had TD's support for the Telangana election and the results were a good indicator on the upcoming results in Andhra Pradesh, where Assembly elections will be held next year.
He said the voters humiliated the JS as in seven constituencies the party candidates lost their deposits. He further pointed out that Jana Sena suffered a defeat in Kukatpally constituency, which is known as the 'den of Andhras', as the people do not trust JS chief Pawan Kalyan.
Dr. Radhakrishna alleged that TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and Kalyan are trying to sell party nominations for huge amounts of money and efforts have already started to collect the sums.
He added that the ticket aspirants must be careful as it is possible that Kalyan and Naidu may leave the country with the money collected from the MLA aspirants.
While an advanced cardiac life support ambulance was suggested for Naidu's health by the doctors, not only Naidu but the whole of TD is in the intensive care unit in Andhra Pradesh as the public is up in arms against 'fraudsters' Naidu and Kalyan.
He added that the development and welfare works taken up by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in the last four-and-half-years was visible in Andhra Pradesh and this would result in an easy poll victory for the YSR Congress.
