Miffed Congmen in touch with me'
Mysuru: Senior BJP leader K.S. Eshwarappa claimed on Sunday that Congress MLAs unhappy over being denied cabinet berths, are in touch with him. Mr Eshwarappa who visited Chamundeswari temple atop Chamundi hills was speaking to media persons, here on Sunday. He said, “I cannot tell you the names of Congress MLAs in touch with me. Wait and watch to know who they are.” He added, “We attempted to make the country Congress free. But Congressmen themselves are intent on making the country Congress free.”
Meanwhile Minister for Veterinary and Fisheries, Mr Venkatrao Nadgowda who too visited Chamundeswari temple, denied any differences of opinion in the Congress party and said, “I am personally satisfied with my portfolio. There is no problem for the coalition government because of M.B. Patil (former minister). It is not right for Mr Yeddyurappa, being a former Chief Minister, to fix a deadline for waiver of farm loans.”
