Prove allegations, or apologise: Kadiyam to Rajaiah
WARANGAL: Former deputy speaker and BRS MLC Kadiyam Srihari slammed Station Ghanpur MLA Thatikonda Rajaiah for making allegations against him during a news conference held on Monday in Zaffergadh mandal of Jangaon district.
It should be mentioned that MLA Rajaiah said that Srihari was the most corrupt leader, amassing vast fortune and property as a minister in the unified Andhra Pradesh and hiding it in Singapore and Malaysia. He also accused Srihari of claiming to be an SC and receiving benefits even though he does not belong to the SC community.
Counter-attacking, Srihari challenged MLA Rajaiah to prove the claims of amassing assets worth thousands of crores levelled against him, so that he may register all of those properties in the name of Station Ghanpur constituency residents. "Otherwise, Rajaiah must apologise to him and rub his nose in the dirt." People may form an erroneous opinion of me if no explanation is provided in response to MLA Rajaiah's claims," he remarked.
Srihari claimed Rajaiah insulted not just his mother, but the entire women's community, by claiming he does not belong to the SC community. Rajaiah overlooked that the father's community only applies to the offspring. Because his father was from the SC community and his mother was from the BC group, he was treated as SC but not BC.
A substantial number of contacts occurred between 2004 and 2014. Even though Rajaiah was an MLA, confrontations occurred; he wondered how he would be held accountable for them. Srihari stated that in the past two Assembly elections, he worked hard for Rajaiah's victory and hoped that a change would come in him, but Rajaiah is behaving inappropriately for his level and position and is refusing to follow party norms.
