Hyderabad: With Munugode-centred politics gaining heat, TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy said on Wednesday that he had decided to tour different mandals of the constituency starting from August 16.
The party whose main concern is retaining the cadre and stop them from joining other parties, particularly the BJP, the PCC chief will be personally reviewing the situation in each of the mandals in the first phase of his tour. The schedule of his programme is likely to be released on Thursday.
Meanwhile, AICC secretary Bose Raju who chaired a meeting with four top aspiring candidates for the byelection, clarified that the nominee will be finalised after a proper ‘survey’, which may take a few days. Raju urged the probables to ensure party wins, leaving aside personal interests. Apart from Palvai Shravanti and Ch Krishna Reddy, Kailash Netha and Palle Ravi attended the meeting.
