NELLORE: Three mega projects are in the offing in Kavali Assembly constituency. They include a Greenfield airport near Dagadarthi, fishing harbour at Juvvaladinne and a mega industrial park near Ramayapatnam.
District collector KVN Chakradhar Babu has given credit to the relentless efforts of Kavali legislator Ramireddy Pratapkumar Reddy and ministers Mekapati Goutham Reddy and P. Anilkumar Yadav, which helped in getting sanctions for the projects.
He was addressing a large gathering at Kavali that had gathered to celebrate the second round of YSR Aasara scheme. He said that the government has released Rs 307 crore to SPSR Nellore district for the scheme’s second round.
Pratapkumar Reddy hailed the Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for giving priority to welfare, education, health and agriculture. He said the administration has been in the forefront when it came to constructing fully-equipped hospitals and recruiting necessary manpower while citing the oxygen plant installed in the area hospital at Kavali.
Later, the legislator distributed cheques to the extent of Rs 5.50 crore to Aasara scheme beneficiaries.
