Take phone tapping complaint to Centre, VHR urges governor
Hyderabad: Asking the Governor to lodge a complaint with the Union home ministry over the alleged tapping of her phones, senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao on Thursday demanded the BJP government at the Centre to conduct a BCs census immediately so that they could get benefits from the government.
"We have called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on umpteen occasions and submitted representations seeking immediate BCs Census in the country, but in vain. If the BJP government is not responding to the issue, I will hit the streets to create awareness among the people," Rao said.
Modi has Union cabinet berths to BCs but has been ignoring the BCs Census, which can help BC communities to get reservations," he said.
