CM narrowing gap between rich and poor: Dharmana

Visakhapatnam: Revenue minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, while highlighting the development brought about for AP by the YSRC government, said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy “is narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor.”

Addressing a Samajika Sadhikara Bus Yatra public meeting at Parvathipuram in Manyam district on Friday, the minister said many questioned the substantial investment by the YSRC government in the school education sector.

“Our focus is on fostering the state's growth by empowering the backbone of our society - our children. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy envisions investing in our children, ensuring that the financial constraints of their parents do not hinder these children's opportunities.”

“The extensive development undertaken by the YSRC government across various sectors in Andhra Pradesh is narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor, showcasing the CM’s unwavering dedication to the uplift of the underprivileged," Prasada Rao said.

The minister targeted Chandrababu Naidu by saying, "In the 2014 elections, Naidu misled the public. He made promises but failed to implement these. He betrayed farmers, women, and every other segment of the population in every region."

Deputy Chief Minister Peedika Rajanna Dora said CM Jagan Mohan Reddy deserved all credit for implementing revolutionary changes in education, health, and agriculture. He urged people to recognize the contrast between the YSRC rule and the rule by the TD governments.

“In the past, if bribing was the norm to get things done from the government, today these services are conveniently delivered to the homes of the needy citizens in a transparent manner without any spec of corruption,” he said.
