Huge Rallies of BSP and Independent Candidates for Filing Their Nominations

ADILABAD: Large rallies were taken out on Friday to mark the filing of nomination papers by BSP state president and candidate RS Praveen Kumar from Sirpur (T) assembly constituency, and independent candidate A Sanjeev Reddy from Adilabad constituency.

A large number of people attended a public meeting organised by the BSP in Sirpur (T) town and RS Praveen Kumar addressed the meeting.

Sirpur (T) is a general seat. Generally, Dalits contest only from seats reserved for SCs.

Sanjeev Reddy, former chairman of Adilabad market committee, filed his nomination as an independent backed by DCC president Sajid Khan and TPCC general secretary Gandrath Sujatha, who recently resigned from the party.

Adilabad town witnessed large crowds of people who came from Adilabad rural, Adilabad, Mavala, Bela and Jainad mandals to participate in the rally in support of Sanjeev Reddy.

Traffic came to a halt at many places in Adilabad town due to the large presence of people on the roads.
