Injustice! Gundurao loyalists protest in Mysuru seeking Cabinet berth for him

They urged the co-ordination committee of the coalition government headed by former CM Siddaramaiah.

Mysuru: Supporters of KPCC Working President, Dinesh Gundurao staged a protest in a unique manner by polishing the shoes of people here on Monday to express their disappointment over him being denied a Cabinet berth.

While indirectly hinting that the entire family of Mr Gundurao had served the Congress party, they urged the co-ordination committee of the coalition government headed by former CM Siddaramaiah, and the AICC to give him the post of KPCC president or higher education minister.

The protest was organised under the aegis of the Dinesh Gundurao Abhimanigala Balaga at Agaram Rangaiah circle on Narayanshasthri Road near Sadvidya School here. Speaking to mediapersons, Dinesh Gundurao Abhimanigala Balaga president, Vinay Kanagal, said, “Former CM late Gundurao (Dinesh Gundurao’s father) has strived with his efficient administration to build a model state.

In the same manner, Mr Dinesh Gundurao too has served as a sincere party worker for the past two decades by effectively handling different responsibilities given to him by the Congress party. And as KPCC working president and KPCC youth wing president, he has interacted with leaders and youth from all communities and has strived for the development of the state.

He even sacrificed his minister post and worked as KPCC working president as per the high command’s directive. But in the present coalition government, he has not been made a minister. As a good organiser and people’s representative, his selfless service must be recognised,” he said.
