VIJAYAWADA: Water resources minister Ambati Rambabu criticised Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena founder K. Pawan Kalyan for spreading hatred and provoking people through their lies. He refuted Naidu’s statement that his government had completed 72 per cent of the Polavaram project.
Speaking to media on Friday, he maintained that the former CM had completed only 48 per cent of the work. “I dare Naidu that I will prove this percentage in an open debate with him,” he declared.
Rambabu alleged that the triumvirate of Naidu, Pawan and Lokesh are clearly playing provocative politics by defaming, insulting and spewing poison against YSRC government and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The minister stated that If NTR had established Telugu Desam Party to make people of united AP proud, Lokesh is killing Telugu by speaking the language in a gibberish manner.
He criticised Lokesh and Chandrababu Naidu for ridiculing him (Rambabu) when he danced on the occasion of Sankranti with the people of his constituency. “Have I danced in a club,” he retorted.
