ADILABAD: Former BRS MLA Gaddam Aravind Reddy of Mancherial on Monday claimed that party working president K.T. Rama Rao promised him the ticket by replacing MLA Nadipelli Diwakar Rao.
Speaking to the media in Mancherial, Aravind said that along with a few BRS MLAs, he had met KTR two days ago and urged him to take back the renomination of the MLA to win the seat.
He also appealed to MLA Diwakar Rao to drop from the contest and give him an opportunity as he worked hard to make the him MLA for four times.
Aravind Reddy criticized Congress leaders led by the former MLC K. Premsagar Rao for spreading rumors that he got a ‘package’ after meeting KTR. He said ‘Goonda Rajyam’ would come into the constituency if Premsagar Rao won Mancherial seat.
