Telangana Assembly Polls: BJP to release candidates list by October 15

Hyderabad: The Telangana state BJP is all set to release a list of candidates for the forthcoming Assembly polls with 30 to 40 names by October 15.

Days after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister visited the state and participating in public meetings, the BJP has finalised the first list of candidates. Sources said that the majority of senior BJP leaders, and public representative are likely to figure in the first list.

The selection process took place based on winnable candidates. Members of the BJP Manifesto Committee have convened a meeting at the BJP office, Nampally, and discussed various issues. Reportedly what MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar had promised during his Padayatra is likely to figure in the manifesto.
