Telugu Desam, JS and CPI Leaders Meet at Vizag TD Office
Visakhapatnam: Leaders of Telugu Desam, Jana Sena and Communist Party of India met at the TD office in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday.
At the end of the meeting, they jointly stated that ever since the YSRC government has come to power, there has been no development in the state. Further, anarchy, vandalism, encroachments and illegal arrests are rampant in AP.
Speaking on the occasion, former minister and MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao said the three parties have decided to together fight against the ruling YSRC in the forthcoming elections.
He went on to say that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has dug his own pit by arresting TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu. On YSRC’s claims that 99 per cent of its promises have been fulfilled, Srinivasa Rao wanted to know why the ruling party has not banned alcohol in the state.
Jana Sena leader Konatha Rao said democracy in AP is in danger, as witnessed by the illegal arrest of Chandrababu Naidu. MPs MVV and Vijayasai Reddy, and YSRC’s regional coordinator Y.V. Subba Reddy are the three demons plaguing Visakhapatnam, he remarked.
CPI district secretary Paidi Raju said a land grabber like Dharmana Prasada Rao has been appointed as a minister.
Those present at the meeting included former minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu, former legislator Ganababu, Southern constituency TD in-charge Gandi Babji, MLCs Duvwarapu Rama Rao and Vepada Chiranjeevi Rao, GVMC TDP floor leader Pila Srinivasa Rao, Visakha parliament constituency in-charge Bharat, Jana Sena leader Panchakarla Ramesh Babu, Visakhapatnam district president Palla Srinivasa Rao and zone 1 Telugu Desam Party in-charge Damacharla Satya.
