Pawan Kalyan on Annavaram Tour Atop His Varahi from Today
Vijayawada: Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan would launch his poll campaign tour on the specially crafted ‘Varahi’ after taking darshan of Lord Satyanarayana in Annavaram on Wednesday. He would hold his first public meeting at Kathipudi Centre in Prathipadu assembly segment.
The first leg of his tour would cover parts of erstwhile Godavari districts involving the Assembly segments of Pithapuram, Kakinada Rural, Kakinada Urban, Mummidivaram, Amalapuram, P Gannavaram, Razole, Narasapuram and Bhimavaram.
The party leadership has made elaborate arrangements to ensure that PK’s tour is hassle- free. In every Assembly segment, he will organise a ‘Janavani’ programme to interact with the people, to know their problems and accept representations from them on various problems.
After the Janavani programme, Pawan Kalyan would tour select areas on his Varahi, styled as a roadshow, during which he would address a public meeting.
Jana Sena political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar has set up seven special committees to coordinate with the party leaders, cadre, women and the general public to see that the party chief’s tour is a success.
As per the tour schedule, the Jana Sena chief would address a public meeting in Kathipudi on Wednesday and address a public meeting at Pithapuram on Friday. He would repeat the same schedule in Kakinada on June 18 and reach Mummidivaram on June 20, Amalapuram on June 21 Malikipuram on June 22 and Narasapuram on June 23.
Meanwhile, Pawan has set up the Jana Sena’s NRI wing with the fancy name, the Sri Aurobindo Viswa Veena (SAVVE), with three members -- Ram Thelluri, Thangella Uday Srinivas and Rukmini Kota while TG Viswanath would serve as its adviser. The panel would coordinate with the NRIs in the US, Australia, Europe and the Gulf and involve them in the party activities and strengthen the JS overseas.
