Hyderabad: Police registered a case against sitting MLA and BRS Sirpur assembly constituency candidate Koneru Konappa for allegedly threatening to kill a BSP activist. The BRS leader was booked along with his supporters.

Former IPS officer RS Praveen Kumar is contesting against Konappa on BSP ticket. Praveen Kumar earlier alleged that the police have been acting soft and helping the ruling party for the upcoming Assembly election.
