ADILABAD: Congress cadre and leaders were elated over the Congress’ victory in the Assembly elections in Karnataka and celebrated it by distributing sweets and bursting crackers at various places in the erstwhile Adilabad district on Saturday.
In Mancherial, the party cadre and leaders celebrated the victory under the leadership of DCC president Kokkirala Surekha.
In Adilabad town, a group of Congress leaders and cadre celebrated the victory under the leadership of former Adilabad market committee chairman Sanjeev Reddy, who is aspiring for the party ticket.
At Vinayakchowk in Adilabad, the cadre celebrated the party’s victory under the leadership of DCC president Sajid Khan and TPCC state general secretary Gandrath Sujatha.
In Utnoor, Congress senior leaders Purka Bapurao, Charulatha, Bharath Chowhan, Pendore Prabhakar, Sunil Jadhav, Yakoob Baig, and Iqbal participated in the victory celebrations.
The triumph celebrations were also held in Kadam, where Purkabapurao, Satishreddy Reddy, Durga Bhavani, Vajith, Rajanna, and Siroj were present.
At Utnoor under the leadership of TPCC state general secretary Vedma Bojju, the cadre celebrated the triumph.
Senior Congress leaders Manik Rao, Rajeshwar, Birudula Lajar, Sarpanch Atram Rahul, and others were present on the occasion. Victory celebrations were also held in Nirmal and Komaram Bheem Asifabad districts.
