CPI seeks reply from Jagan on corruption in Chief Minister's Office

VIJAYAWADA: Communist Party of India (CPI) state secretary K. Ramakrishna demanded Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s answer on corruption in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) as the arrest of five persons by AP CID had proven corruption and illegalities.

He said that the rule in the state was out of order, which was proved by the CMO’s corruption. He pointed out that after assuming the Chief Minister's post, Jagan Mohan Reddy was limited to his residence at Tadepalli with security, so corrupt persons in the CMO were tampering with the digital signatures and misusing them.

Ramakrishna said the corrupt people who were working in the CMO created fake Chief Ministers' Petitions (CMP) by stealing and using the CMO special chief secretary and secretaries' logins and passwords.

He alleged that they created around 66 fake CMPs by stealing logins and passwords. He said that the CMO’s special chief secretary and secretaries had no command in the CMO, and the ruling YSRC had set aside the development of the state and continued their destruction rule. As a result, people in the state hate the YSRC’s misrule, he commented.

“There is no security for the Chief Minister’s Office in the state, how will they protect people? The Chief Minister is claiming that his government is doing without any corruption. But the corruption in the state is happening along the lines of the CMO, however, they are looking into it,” he added.
