RBS chief blames BJP, RSS for bogus votes in Munugode

HYDERABAD: Rythu Bandhu Samithi (RBS) chairman and MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy alleged that the BJP and the RSS were responsible for enrolment of bogus votes in Munugode Assembly constituency. It was after authorities had deleted bogus votes that BJP leaders had approached the courts, he said.

The BJP could influence constitutional bodies but not the mandate of peoples’ court, he said.

Reddy along with TRS state general secretary Soma Bharath Kumar and senior leader Devi Prasad Rao speaking to the media said that BJP was responsible for the byelection in Munugode. The drama over voters and subsequent developments proved that the Central Election Commission was being remote-controlled by the BJP, he alleged.

He said that having realised that defeat was imminent, BJP leaders were throwing blame on the deletion of 40 per cent of voters from the list.
The RBS chairman said that the political career of the Komatireddy brothers will end after the Munugode by-election.
