YSRC North Andhra Bus Yatra from Oct 26: Botsa
Visakhapatnam: The fresh phase of the YSRC mass contact programme, styled as the Bus Yatra for north Andhra, would begin from Ichapuram on Oct 26.
Education minister and regional coordinator Botsa Satyanarayana stated this at a press conference here on Friday.
Industries minister Gudivada Amaranth, deputy chief ministers Rajanna Dora and Mutyala Naidu, minister Appala Raju, deputy speaker Veerabhadra Swamy, former deputy chief minister Dharmana Krishnadas and MLC Varudu Kalyani were present.
Botsa said the bus would reach Gajapathinagaram in Vizianagaram district on Oct 27, Bheemili Oct 28, Paderu Oct 30 and Amadalavalasa in Srikakulam on Oct 31. Public meetings would be held along the way.
The yatra would resume and reach Parvathipuram on Nov 1, Madugula in Anakapalli district on Nov 2, Narasannapeta Nov 3, S Kota Nov 4, Gajuwaka Nov 6, Rajam Nov7, Saluru Nov 8 and Anakapalli Nov 9.
The minister said the YSRC government would share power between all sections of the society but priority would be given to the backward communities.
Answering a question on jailed TD chief Chandrababu Naidu’s health, Satyanarayana said the government would keep him in good health. “If a court gives any direction, the government will follow them.’’
On the shifting of capital, the minister said the local people wanted Jagan the chief minister to start ruling from Visakhapatnam immediately.
