Nizamabad: Nizamabad Municipal Corporation (NMC) officials conducted a review meeting on Wednesday over civic amenities. Newly elected Nizamabad Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana Gupta and municipal commissioner Makarand took part in the meeting in which the MLA sought the cooperation of the officials for the development of the Nizamabad city.
There have been requests from the people seeking facilities of education, medical, drinking water, roads, street lights, parks, islands, urban health centres, pensions and ration cards, the MLA said.
“People reposed confidence in me and elected as Nizamabad Urban MLA and I will be available for them in the city for the next five years,” he promised. The review meetings would be conducted regularly and officials should cooperate to resolve the problems, he said.
BJP municipal floor leader G. Sravanthi Reddy, Nizamabad RDO Rajendra Kumar, Transco superintending engineer Ravinder, district education officer Durga Prasad and other officials were present.
