Parvathi’s case on Naidu assets listed for February 26

However, the special court said that it would take a decision as whether to hear the case or not.

Hyderabad: A special court of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Hyderabad on Friday posted the hearing of the complaint in the disproportionate assets of former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to February 26.

The complaint was filed fifteen years ago by N. Lakshmi Parvathi, widow of N. T. Rama Rao, former AP chief minister, seeking a probe into the illegally accumulated assets of Mr Naidu.

On Friday, Samba Shiva Rao, principal judge of the ACB special court, made it clear that the court would take a decision on the complaint by its next hearing.

Ambiguity prevails due to stay orders issued by the-then united AP High Court in 2005, which restrained the special court from going further on the complaint.

The counsel representing Mr. Naidu tried to tell the court about his client’s contention. However, the special court said that it would take a decision as whether to hear the case or not.
