Bengaluru: DK Shivakumar seeks Guruji's blessings
Bengaluru: On Sunday Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar left for Delhi after seeking the blessings of his mentor, astrologer and spiritual guru - Rajguru Bellur Sankaranarayanan Dwarakanath, who is popularly called Guruji.
“He took my blessings before going to Delhi to lobby for the post of CM. He asked me and I said there is no harm in trying because none of the parties (Congress and BJP) will get a clear majority. They will have to go with JD(S).
Shivakumar is clear that if the Congress gets majority then he will support Siddaramaiah as the CM but in case they have to ally with the JD(S) then he doesn't want to lose out on the opportunity," said Dwarkanath, who is also the personal astrologer to many politicians. He added that besides Shivakumar, Congress senior leader Mallikarjun Kharge is also in the fray for the post of chief minister.
