MIM using mosque row for mileage, says M Kishan Reddy
Hyderabad: BJP leader M. Kishan Reddy on Tuesday alleged that the MIM was trying to create trouble in Hyderabad city by taking advantage of the controversial demolition of a disused mosque in Amberpet.
Speaking to mediapersons, Mr Kishan Reddy said the land was acquired for the construction of the flyover at Amberpet and the payment was made during the regime of N.T. Rama Rao in undivided AP. He said that there was no mosque at the site as was claimed by the MIM but the GHMC had made payment to the land owners of the land parcel. He said that though the land had been taken over legally after paying compensation, the MIM was turning it into an issue for political gains.
Mr Reddy pointed out that a total 281 properties had been acquired for the flyover.
