VIJAYAWADA: AP State Planning Board vice chairman and Vijayawada Central MLA Malladi Vishnu said the state government led by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is committed to supporting the construction sector.
Inaugurating the three-day NAREDCO Property Expo on Friday at A Plus Convention Centre in Vijayawada, he pointed out that the government is proactive in implementing policies that help the construction sector.
Speaking on the occasion, former minister and Vijayawada West MLA Vellampalli Srinivas Rao said ruling YSRC government has been taking decisions that benefit all sections, including those wanting to own houses.
Vijayawada mayor Rayana Bhagyalakshmi appealed to builders and contractors to make available properties at affordable prices.
YSRC Vijayawada East constituency in-charge Devineni Avinash said it is a good idea to involve financial institutions in the property show, as this helps buyers seeking loans.
NAREDCO state secretary general Mamidi Seetharamaiah and CREDAI state president Y.V. Ramana Rao said construction sector needs government help for its growth.
NAREDCO central zone president Mukteswara Rao, state secretary Paruchuri Kiran, and NAREDCO representatives Sandeep Mandava, Vasireddy Vamsi, Sudhir, Nadella Vijayakumar, Potti Ramakrishna and Amarnath were among those present.
