VIJAYAWADA: Tourism and Krishna district in-charge minister RK Roja came down heavily on Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and Telugu Desam’s Chandrababu Naidu for their allegations against the YSRC and Chief Minister Jagan Reddy in relation to the Volunteer system.
Speaking to the media at Pamarru on Friday, Roja challenged Kalyan to field candidates in all the 175 constituencies if he wants to prove he is really a hero. She said, “All the people here know Pawan Kalyan is Chandrababu and possesses Chandramukhi.”
The minister said there was no bigger rowdy than Pawan Kalyan who roamed around with guns.
Roja said she suspected Chandrababu had a role in the scam linked to former Singapore minister Iswaran, who was associated with the former AP CM in the Amaravati project. “It is likely cops from Singapore will come and arrest Naidu."
She said, legally, the government has introduced the village secretariat and voluntary system as per the provisions of the panchayat system in the state. “Due to lack of understanding and knowledge, a few people including Pawan and Chandrababu are talking nonsense.”
