Fight Against Anti-People Policies of YSRC: Pawan

Vijayawada: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan called upon the party leaders and activists to fight against the anti-people policies of the YSRC government and assured them to come to their rescue in case of any threat to their lives.

Referring to a case where Jana Sena leader Kotte Sai in Srikalahasti was assaulted by the police recently, he said that he was going to Tirupati on Monday to question the police on the issue.

He asked the party leaders and activists to come forward to figure out the people’s problems and ensure that they get resolved expeditiously. He said that if any activist was attacked in the process, he would feel that he was attacked and would react accordingly.

The Jana Sena chief welcomed the YSRC leader from Prakasam district, Amanchi Srinivasulu, along with his supporters into the party at a programme held at party headquarters at Mangalagiri on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that his entry into the party would give a lot of strength not only in Prakasam district but also in Krishna and Guntur districts. He opined that his services could be availed of in the three districts. He reminisced about his association with Chirala Chinnaratham, Peddaratham, and Jandrapetea during his childhood days.

Jana Sena political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar said that AP required the leadership of Pawan Kalyan and called upon the party leaders and activists to work hard to help the party secure victory in the ensuing polls in the state.

Amanchi Srinivasulu said that the people were fed up with the rule of the YSR Congress government and added that they were looking for the leadership of Pawan Kalyan in the state. He opined that it was his fortune to join the Jana Sena which was standing for the cause of the weaker and backward classes, SCs, and STs, and vowed to strengthen the party from the grassroots level.

Earlier, Amanchi Srinivasulu arrived at the Jana Sena office in a huge convoy of cars along with his supporters, affecting vehicular traffic on the national highway for some time.
