Subramanian Swamy accuses Naidu, PK of false propaganda against TTD
TIRUPATI: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy accused Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan of disseminating lies and fake propaganda about Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and its SRIVANI Trust.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi on Friday, Swamy claimed that both Naidu and Pawan are making baseless allegations against the devasthanam and SRIVANI Trust, while also falsely accusing the state government led by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of embezzlement.
The BJP leader argued that these statements incite religious discord and are deliberately aimed at provoking and offending the sentiments of Hindu devotees.
Subramanian Swamy dismissed Naidu's claims that the TTD Trust and Jagan's government are supporting conversions to Christianity.
He labelled the allegations as politically motivated attempts to stir anti-Hindu sentiments. He further criticized Pawan Kalyan for engaging in similar malicious campaigns.
The BJP leader challenged the TD chief to substantiate his allegations against TTD and its SRIVANI Trust or refrain from spreading false propaganda.
