TPCC May Suspend Dissenting Mandal Voices

HYDERBAD: Acting tough on the dissenting voices who were resorting to dharnas at the Gandhi Bhavan with grievances on the appointment of new mandal committees, TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy ordered immediate suspension of such candidates from the party.

The TPCC president citing Udaipur declaration said a person cannot continue on any post for more than five years. Those having grievance have been asked to submit representation to party’s state working president Mahesh Kumar Goud or Gandhi Bhavan in-charge Kumar Rao. TPCC disciplinary committee chairman G. Chinna Reddy has been authorised to take immediate action on such instances.
The action comes in the backdrop of Turkapalli mandal committee president Shankar Nayak from Alair holding a dharna on the footsteps of Gandhi Bhavan seeking extension of his term on Saturday. Such protests by the mandal
committee aspirants had happened with regard to the LB Nagar, Maheswaram, Munugode areas recently. They had particularly coincided with the visits by TPCC president to Gandhi Bhavan.

The same was conveyed by the PCC to AICC secretary in-charge of Telangana Rohit Choudhary.
