KCR Releases BRS Manifesto For Telangana Assembly Elections at Pragathi Bhavan

KCR will officially launches poll campaign from lucky Husnabad constituency after BRS manifesto release

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao released the BRS manifesto for the Telangana Assembly elections at Pragathi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Sunday.

BRS manifesto promises the following-

  • Soubhagyalakshmi scheme to provide ₹3000 per month to all eligible poor women.
  • Gas cylinder for ₹400 to all eligible BPL families.
  • Aasara Pensions to be increased to ₹5000 with yearly hikes of ₹500.
  • KCR Aarogya Raksha Scheme to increase ArogyaSri Bhima Scheme coverage to ₹15lakh.
  • Rythu Bandhu scheme to be increased by ₹16000 per acre year with initial hike of ₹11000.
  • KCR Bhima Prathi Intiki Dheema to provide ₹5lakh Insurance Scheme for all BPL card holders with government paying 100% premium.
  • Building 1lakh 2BHK houses in Hyderabad under Gruha Lakshmi scheme.
  • 119 residential schools for economically backward students
  • Minority junior colleges to be converted to residential colleges.
  • Own buildings for Mahila Swashakti Groups.
  • Implementation of orphan policy of Telangana government taking them as State Children.
  • Removal of restrictions on assigned lands.
  • Study of CPS to OPS pensions for government employees with formation of committee of senior officials.
  • Implementation of Telangana Annapurna Scheme to provide Rice (Sanna Biyyam) to all ration card holders.

Telangana goes to polls on November 30, 2023.

The BRS has already released the list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Telangana. The party released the list of 115 candidates on August 21.

Now, after the release of BRS manifesto, KCR will officially launch the poll campaign from Husnabad, which is considered a lucky constituency for him.

KCR is eyeing for third consecutive term and is expected to go on a political campaign free from this evening. The BRS chief is expected to address 41 public meetings stretch over 24 days, which will go on till November 9.

There are two reasons for BRS chief to pick Sunday for the release of the party manifesto and kick-start the poll campaign for the upcoming Telangana Assembly polls 2023.

One is Sunday marks the beginning of the nine-day Navaratri festival, which is considered very auspicious. Besides, today's date October 15 adds up to Six, KCR's lucky number.
