Congress launches \"Nirudyoga Chaitanya Bus Yatra\" in TS

Hyderabad: The Congress on Wednesday launched "Nirudyoga Chaitanya Bus Yatra" to highlight the issue of unemployment under the BRS regime. The bus yatra will cover all the districts for 10 days highlighting the failures of the BRS government in filling the job vacancies, TSPSC's failures in conducting recruitment exams, the leakage of question papers, and the cancellation of exams.

Congress leader Addanki Dayakar, Prof Haragopal, and others flagged off the bus yatra at Telangana Martyrs Memorial at Gun Park.

Dayakar said that the bus yatra will continue till November 25 and jobless youth from various universities in the state will take part in this yatra.

As part of the yatra, unemployed youth will release a chargesheet in their respective assembly constituencies on the failures of the BRS government in releasing job notifications and conducting recruitment exams.

They will appeal to jobless youth, students, and their parents to reject the BRS and support the Congress in the Assembly polls as the party had promised to fill over two lakh job vacancies immediately after coming to power and release an annual job calendar on the lines of UPSC to conduct recruitment exams every year.

Indra Naik, an unemployed youth and TSPSC Groups exams aspirant, who was taking part in the rally, said that the BRS government failed to conduct Group-I exams even once in the last nine years.

"They just release notifications for group exams. The notifications are faulty and they land up in legal issues. If exams are conducted, then results are not announced. If results are announced, interviews are not conducted. If interviews are conducted, postings are not given for selected candidates. Candidates are forced to wait and prepare for exams for years."

Shivananda Swamy, another unemployed youth, said, "Ministers K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao are undertaking false propaganda that the BRS government has provided over two lakh government jobs in the last nine years. We want to create awareness among unemployed youth and students in Telangana about the false claims of BRS."
