Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police commissioner organised a coordination meeting with zonal heads, district expenditure supervisors, and election officers to discuss security arrangements related to the conduct of elections.
D.S. Chauhan stated, "Cases have been registered on illegal cash movement and illegal liquor being transported against the rules."
During the meeting, Chauhan explained the programmes undertaken by their respective departments and the security measures taken accordingly.
The commissioner highlighted that checkposts have been armed at all identified locations in the commissionerate and CCTV cameras have been installed to prevent money laundering.
Following the procedure, illegal money being moved without proper details is seized in the presence of the executive magistrate and the district surveillance team. The flying squad and static surveillance team are performing their duties properly.
The meeting was attended by all senior police officers and staff, said a release issued by Rachakonda police PRO on Wednesday.
