Congress remains undeterred by raid on War room : Mallu Ravi
Hyderabad: Alleging that the TS police was behaving like the private army of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, Congress leader Mallu Ravi asserted that the party’s state leadership would not be deterred by the way the police raided the war room on Tuesday.
He said that a comprehensive report on the issue will be forwarded to party president Mallikarjun Kharge shortly.
Speaking to mediapersons along with newly appointed DCC presidents Dr C. Rohin Reddy (Khairatabad), Sameer Waliullah (Hyderabad), Youth Congress leader M. Anil Kumar Yadav and others, Mallu Ravi said that the TRS had tried to dent the Congress by stealing valuable information from War room.
The Congress stood steadfast in building new strategies to the counter failed policies of the government and such attacks would not deter the party which would emerge victorious.
“The influence of BRS is slowly getting reduced within the state and people are slowly turning against the KCR government. This was an attempt by the ruling party to seal the strategies planned to be adopted by Congress to get connected with the people,” said Ravi, the PCC’s senior vice president.
Ravi said that the Congress had sought FIR copy from the police before appearing for questioning on December 19. Ravi held that the cops never entertained complaints made by party leaders. “Even the BJP had circulated similar posts critical of the functioning of the TRS government, but police never reacted,” he added.
