Income survey to help all sections in Andhra Pradesh soon

The CM said the government would do justice to all sections of the people.

Vijayawada: The government would conduct a comprehensive survey to find out the social and financial condition of all castes in Andhra Pradesh.

Assuring the people of Valmeekee-Boya community of inclusion in the ST quota list, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu here on Monday said the government would conduct the survey to provide benefits to people based on their population in the society.

A delegation, led by chief whip Kaalva Srinivasulu, met Mr Naidu and requested him to include the Vaalmeeke-Boyas in the STs like in Karnataka.

Mr Srinivasulu also asked the chief minister to include the issue in the TD manifesto. The CM said the government would do justice to all sections of the people and also made it clear that he would not tolerate any violence in the name of caste, region and religion as it would stall investments, employment and development of the state.
