ICHODA (Adilabad): Congress Legislature Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka will launch his padayatra on Thursday, March 16, as part of the Haath Se Haath Jodo Abhiyan.
Party in-charges are making efforts to involve leaders of all groups for sending a strong message of party unity among people. It is said nearly 20,000 people are being mobilised for the launching of yatra from Pipri in Bajarhathnoor in Boath assembly constituency after garlanding of Adivasi legendary Komaram Bheem’s statue and performing puja at the hillock temple.
Significantly, the place has been selected in a manner that the yatra starts from west side and proceeds towards north by crossing River Godavari. Such a direction is considered auspicious for any good work.

Former MLC K. Premsagar Rao described both CLP Bhatti Vikramarka and TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy as two wheels of a bullock cart. The bullock cart will reach the right place only when both the wheels work properly, he remarked, saying both the leaders are doing their best to strengthen the party.
The former MLC said a massive public meeting will be organised as part of the padayatra in Mancherial on April 2, with one lakh people participating in the meeting.
Premsagar Rao said the Narendra Modi government at the centre is a pro-crony capitalist government, while the BRS-led regime of K. Chandrasekhar Rao is feudalistic.
Among those present included TPCC campaign committee convenor Azmatullah Husseni, in-charge of Bhatti Vikramarka’s padayatra, Adilabad DCC president Sajid Khan, TPCC state general secretaries Gandrath Sujatha and Lavanya Reddy, senior Congress leaders Ade Gajender and Dr. Vennela Ashok, ZPTC Mallepula Narsaiah, and senior leader Narsaiah.
