Jagan: Pawan dancing to Naidu's tunes
Vijayawada: “I am fighting for the poor while Telugu Desam and Jana Sena are jointly engaged in a fight with the poor,” Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy asserted on Tuesday.
“This is the difference. When I meet PM Modi or the Governor, it is primarily to promote the people's interest. But TD and JS leaders meet only to play politics and do match-fixing, in a desperate bid to come to power,” Jagan Reddy said at a public meeting on the seacoast Nizampatnam in Bapatla district.
He said, “The JS match-fixing has gone to such an extent that it cannot say ‘no’ to TD."
The chief minister was addressing the public after releasing the YSR Matsyakara Bharosa scheme.
Jagan Reddy usually allots five minutes of his speech to target Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan. But, on Tuesday, he spoke about the duo and opposition for more than 20 minutes.
Jagan Reddy said the JS and TD have no guts to contest all 175 seats all alone, but are trying to forge alliances for their political survival.
CM Jagan said, “I never compromised on principles and policies in my 15-year long political career. But, the TD entered into a political wedlock with the BJP, the Congress and the Communists, conveniently divorcing its partners at will for political gains.”
“The wholesale package star, Pawan, is dancing to Naidu’s tunes, saying Jee Hujur. As Opposition leader, I built my house at Tadepalli and as chief minister, I am living there. But Chandrababu built his palace at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad when he was in power and is now living there after losing the elections. His foster son PK is also not willing to stay in the state.”
“What good will they do to the people except pursuing their policy of loot, stash and devour,” he asked, and urged the people to mark the difference between the YSRC and the opposition parties.
Jagan Reddy said, “Chandrababu only knows about ‘Vennupotu’ (backstabbing), political alliances, conspiracies and gimmicks while his foster son Pawan Kalyan dances to his tunes, parroting the TD chief’s words and willing to make new political alliances and grant divorces at will.”
“The actor (Pawan) who was defeated in two constituencies is conducting stop-gap political meetings between his shooting schedules. Like Naidu, his foster son too has no guts to put up candidates in all 175 constituencies for his party.”
“TD and Jana Sena have no political credibility as Chandrababu remembers SCs, STs, BCs and minorities only at the time of elections while Pawan Kalyan plays second fiddle to Naidu as part of their political match-fixing.”
“The TD chief never gets tired of claiming he made Prime Ministers and Presidents. But, when we think of his 14-year rule, not even a single welfare scheme comes to our mind. Instead, he is remembered only for his backstabbing and cheating nature,” the chief minister remarked.
