GUNTUR: YSR Congress demanded AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to reveal to the public the secret behind the huge increase in his assets. It also alleged that Mr Naidu was promoting corruption and illegal activities in the state.
YSRC state spokesperson Ambati Rambabu during a press meet in Guntur on Friday alleged that Telugu Desam ministers, legislators and leaders are robbing the public and they are also involved in illegal sand business.
Mr Rambabu recalled Mr Naidu’s statement demanding YSRC president and Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy handover his assets to the government. He questioned the CM and asked him to clarify to the public about his earnings worth crores of rupees and assets from two acres of land in the past few years.
The YSRC leader alleged that Mr Naidu helped the Congress level false cases against Jagan. The YSRC chief is now facing all those false cases without getting any stay orders unlike Mr Naidu who got stay orders in all court cases.
Alleging about the involvement of TD legislators in sand and gravel illegal businesses he felt that these illegalities promoted by Mr Naidu himself and this led to huge increase of corruption in AP.
Mr Rambabu ridiculed that Mr Naidu despite residing in the Krishna river bank area speaking about protection of rivers which is thing of laugh. He sought CBI inquiry on TD MLAs to know about the corruption and illegalities and further CBI inquiry on Mr Naidu also to show his corruption to the public.
