Congress-led UDF to Lay Siege to Kerala Secretariat on October 18

Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader VD Satheesan slammed Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for criticizing the presence of election strategist Sunil Kanugolu in the PCC political affairs committee held here recently.

Satheeshan claimed that, ahead of the 2021 assembly polls, Pinarayi Vijayan had sought the services of a Mumbai-based PR agency for an image makeover and used their services for his daily evening briefings during the COVID-19 pandemic. The PR agency also made Pinarayi Vijayan speak about providing food to animals, including monkeys and dogs, during the lockdown period.

Satheeshan further said that the Congress was well aware of conducting elections and had taught this to Pinarayi Vijayan in the two by-elections held in the state.

The opposition Congress-led UDF has decided to lay siege to the state secretariat on October 18 to protest against the alleged LDF Government’s corruption and all-round failure.
