Jagan is man of masses', should be CM again: MLA Krishnadas
Visakhapatnam: The second phase of the Social Empowerment Yatra in North Andhra districts started with great enthusiasm among the YSRC rank and file.
In Narasaraopet constituency of Srikakulam district, the YSRC bus yatra saw chanting of chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s name everywhere. Many leaders explained to the people the development and welfare schemes that were implemented in the constituency. They also interacted with the beneficiaries.
Speaker Tammineni Sitaram, revenue minister Dharmana Prasada, animal husbandry minister Sidiri Appalaraju, North Andhra district’s YSRC coordinator Y.V. Subba Reddy, MLAs Dharmana Krishnadas, Pushpa Srivani, Reddy Shanti and others were present.
Narasannapeta MLA Dharmana Krishnadas said, “A leader like Jagan Reddy cannot be seen in other parties. He is the future of AP. Jagan is giving social empowerment and political respect to all and assurances to women. New villages are being formed in the name of Jagananna colonies.”
MLA Pushpashri Vani said, “People flocked to YSRC Yatra. It looks as if the Nagavali and Vamsadhara rivers are flowing together. CM Jagan made the BCs, STs, SCs and minorities rise up with pride.”
During the Yatra, a public meeting was held. Revenue minister Prasada Rao said, “Jagan held a padayatra and observed the people’s problems. When he became CM, he implemented his promises in these respects. The backward classes in AP had lost their strength and power, but Jagan Reddy restored these to them.”
Speaker Tammineni Sitaram said, “During Jagan Reddy's rule, the state has reached the top level in the development indexes and this has also been recognised by the Centre.”
Animal husbandry minister Sidiri Appalaraju said, “If Tammineni Sitaram, who belongs to the backward communities of the backward Srikakulam district, was given the post of Speaker, what else proof do you need to decide who is the best CM? Chandrababu Naidu insulted the BCs.”
Earlier in the day, YSRC North Andhra coordinator YV Subbareddy said that the first phase of the YSRC social empowerment bus Yatra was a huge success. “Through the social empowerment bus yatra, we are examining the Naadu Needu work. If we find any errors, we will correct them. Jana Sena leaders' criticism is baseless. Today, Jana Sena is working on the TDP script.”
