TD accused MLA of several illegal activities
ANANTAPUR: TD politburo member and former minister Kalava Srinivasulu on Friday gave a representation to Anantapur SP K.K.N. Anburajan demanding investigation into the numerous allegations against Rayadurg MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy.
The TD leader, who had earlier represented the Rayadurg constituency, said the MLA is involved directly and indirectly in many cases during the past four years, including land grabbing. But no justice had been done to victims.
Srinivasulu said Ramachandra Reddy had extorted money from even people who were into legal business. He had been illegally involved mining and blasting quarries in Nemakal village of Bommanahal mandal.
However, police did not take any action even though the entire Nemakal village had protested.
The TD leader said a few days ago, the MLA had forcibly taken away a crusher from a woman industrialist by threatening her using Bellary-based rowdy sheeters.
