HD Kumaraswamy, Siddaramaiah campaign in Chamundeshwari
Sources said BJP leader Hemachandra Sagar had held talks with JD(S) supremo H.D. Deve Gowda and Mr Kumaraswamy.
Mysuru: Chamundeshwari witnessed a high decibel campaign on Monday with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah campaigning in one end of the constituency while state Janata Dal (Secular) president H.D. Kumaraswamy campaigned for party candidate G.T. Devegowda in 38 villages in the same constituency.
“If Siddaramaiah has his official intelligence team to brief him, I have my private intelligence team too. Siddaramaiah is sure to lose in Chamundeshwari, I am not worried at all,” Mr Kumaraswamy said.
He said, “I know how they are trying to lure voters in Chamundeshwari constituency. In fact, when Congress workers tried to wave Congress flags at our meetings, the police were about to disperse them, but I prevented them,” Mr Kumaraswamy said.
