KCR is going to be hat-trick' CM: KTR
WARANGAL: Minister K.T. Rama Rao said that BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao would become the “hat-trick Chief Minister” of Telangana when the polls are held in November or December.
He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for the South Korean firm Young One Company’s unit at the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Geesukonda of
Parkal in Warangal on Saturday. No Chief Minister of a Telugu state has had a third consecutive term.
Rama Rao told public representatives not to tolerate cheap comments made by leaders of Opposition parties and directed them to give a fitting reply, citing the importance of the next three months in the poll run-up.
“North Telangana region is not only famous for the production of black gold (coal) but also for the production of the white gold (cotton). Cotton produced in Telangana has great value across the nation. That is why Azam Zahi Mill was established in Warangal in the past. To bring back the past glory, the CM established KMTP in Warangal district,” Rama Rao said.
The Young One Company, which will operate under the name Farm To Factory,
will establish 11 cloth manufacturing industries on 298 acres at Rs 840 crore,
with a potential to generate 21,000 direct and indirect jobs.
Officials said that locals will get 99 per cent priority in the jobs.
Parkal MLA Challa Dharma Reddy, who strove hard for accumulating and allocating the land for the KMTP, said: “The farmers who lost their fields will be given 100 yards of housing site and the pattas will be distributed within two months.”
He said that the clothes will be labelled ‘Made in Parkal’ as they will have a unique international identity due to the plan to establish various global clothing firms here.
“The Central government started learning by seeing the Telangana government.
Recently, the BJP government announced the PM Mithra scheme by copying all
the schemes implemented in Telangana; the BJP government is introducing the
schemes by changing their names,” the MLA said.
“Leaders of Opposition parties are afraid to contest against the sitting MLAs of BRS. We are going to register a massive victory in the Assembly elections and KCR is going to become the CM for a third consecutive time,” he said.
Panchayat raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, MPs P. Dayakar and Banda
Prakash, district collector Praveenya, and chairman of Young One Company
Chang Joy Boke were present on the occasion.
