Chugh warns Telengana voters against BRS, Cong, AIMIM secret alliance in elections
Hyderabad: BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh on Friday cautioned voters against falling into the “trap” laid by the Congress, the BRS and the AIMIM.
In a statement, Chugh said that the three parties were hand in glove in the forthcoming elections and had been working in cohort to mislead the people.
“It's eyewash that the three parties are contesting the election separately. In fact, they have a common programme, which is to keep aside the BJP," Chugh alleged.
The manner in which Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to contest from two seats and one vacated by TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy exposed the under the table pact between the two parties, Chugh alleged.
He recalled how the AIMIM had played a divisive role against the Hindus in the post-partition days and now the same party has joined hands with anti-Hindu forces in the state, which, Chugh cautioned, has created an alarming situation.
