YSRC alleges TD conspiracy to kill Macherla MLA
VIJAYAWADA: Water resources minister Ambati Rambabu on Saturday alleged that TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu has hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Macherla MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and his brother Venkatrami Reddy.
“The TD’s aim is to create disturbances in the Palnadu region, which has turned into a peaceful area after Jagan Mohan Reddy government has taken over in AP,” Rambabu stated.
The minister, along with ruling party MLAs Kasu Mahesh Reddy and Dr. G. Srinivas Reddy, visited the hospital in Narasaraopet to know about the well-being of YSRC cadres severely injured in an attack. Rambabu alleged that Naidu is resorting to murderous politics by giving charge of Macherla TD to Julakanti Brahma Reddy, who has a history of factional crime.
The minister warned that YSRC government will not remain a mute spectator of such murderous politics and take action against the goondas of Telugu Desam.
Ruling party MLA Srinivasa Reddy underlined that Brahma Reddy is the main accused in seven murder cases. Soon after being made in-charge of the TD party, he has started resorting to factional violence, he pointed out.
MLA Mahesh Reddy wondered from where the sticks used in violence came when TD leaders were supposed to be on a door-to-door Idemi Karma programme of the opposition party. He accused TD of stoking factions in the Palnadu region to benefit politically.
